I joined Clearline CPA in January 2016 as our Operations Manager while Rachel was on maternity leave. I enjoyed working with Clearline so much that upon completing the Diploma in Accounting Program at UBC, I became an Associate with the accounting team.

My path to Clearline was slightly convoluted. I grew up on the North Shore, but chose to attend Queen’s University in Ontario where I graduated with an honours degree in Political Science and History. I then moved to Banff, Alberta for the one season of snowboarding; however, that one season quickly turned into five! While in Banff, I spent four years working with Parks Canada where my primary job was keeping grizzly bears away from tourists! During that time, I also pursued my love of travelling. I was determined to visit thirty countries before I was thirty – and have currently travelled to thirty-four! Highlights include standing on Juno Beach, hiking in the Himalayas, Andes, and Amazon, and exploring the temples of India.

After my years of travelling the world, I returned to Vancouver and worked with an international recruiting firm before joining Clearline. Outside of work, when am I happiest? Driving my Jeep on the way to a camping trip. Or fly fishing on a lake in a float tube listening to the loons.
