Ever have trouble paying your personal tax instalments? Or your payroll deductions? GST? Corporate taxes? The CRA has created My Payment, a new system that makes paying your tax and trust accounts easier. For details on how to use it, please follow the steps below:
Through My Payment, you can make direct payments to the CRA using your bank access card. The CRA does not charge a fee for this service, but if your bank charges a fee for the use of your debit card, this fee would apply.

If you are making an instalment, choose Instalments. If you are paying the balance due for your most recent tax return, choose 20XX – tax return. If you aren’t sure which option fits your situation, please reach out to us to discuss.
If you are making an instalment, choose Interim. If you are making a payment in response to a filed return such as GST, choose Payment on filing. If you are paying the balance of your tax return for your year end, choose Balance Due. If you aren’t sure which option fits your situation, please reach out to us to discuss.
Payments are usually received by the CRA the same day or the next business day. But to avoid interest charges or penalties, be sure to pay on time.
