18 Jun Meet Raj, Associate

Born and raised in Penticton, Raj obtained his Bachelors of Science with a major in Economics from UBC Okanagan in 2015. With an aptitude for numbers, business was a natural choice for Raj. After graduating from UBC, he went on to pursue Accounting at BCIT, which led him to starting his accounting career at Clearline CPA as an Associate.

Raj is part of the bookkeeping team at Clearline where he enjoys the challenge of working with different clients to bring clarity to their finances. During his time at Clearline, Raj has also shared his innate ability for teaching by training our co-op students in all things bookkeeping.

Having grown up in the Okanagan with a strong sense of community, Raj struggled to find that same community connection in Vancouver. He was happy to find it with Team Clearline, especially during tax season and its late nights, team dinners and after-work outings. For Raj, this comradery made the move from small town life to the big city a lot easier.

When Raj is not working, you will most likely find him playing basketball, baseball or teaching Bhangra dance in his local community. Bhangra dance is a traditional Punjabi style dance that has given Raj the opportunity to travel all around North America.
