09 Oct More Exciting News At Clearline CPA

It is very exciting to continue September’s announcements of annual promotions. Last month we started in Surrey, and this month we will lead off with the Vancouver team.

Dan Demerse has been at Clearline as long as anyone (except Jeff and Grant, of course) and he originally started as a co-op student from Trinity Western University. Dan is the guy you go to when you want technical knowledge, be it an accounting question or a tax idea. He is known by his clients as being the first person to respond and the last to go home. We are very proud that Dan continues to grow and develop at Clearline and are happy to now call him a Senior Manager.

Also in Vancouver, we have a new Assistant Manager! We have promoted AJ Joshi from Senior Associate. AJ is a natural leader and because of his great capacity for empathy and understanding, he always brings a different perspective to the work. Welcome to the new role AJ.

Over in Burnaby (and formerly North Vancouver), we went looking a year or so ago and found Viet Vu.  Viet’s first position in public practice was at Clearline, and he has since completed his CPA courses and wrote the final exam in 2017. He is now working on accumulating his experience hours at Clearline. Very few people have the focus and work ethic of Viet and he has been a shining light since arrival. We are very pleased that he has been promoted to Senior Accountant.

Finally, to Surrey, where we celebrate the achievements of Shehzel Saif, newly appointed to Senior Accountant. Shehzel has long been a client favourite as she is responsive, quick and dedicated to being one of the best. She rounds out the list of the new promotions for 2018, and we are lucky to have each of them.
