Upcoming CRA Charities Webinar: Gifting and Receipting

Are you a representative of a charity? Are you interested in refreshing your knowledge as it relates to tax receipting? On May 25th and 26th, the CRA’s Charities Directorate will be holding virtual information sessions on gifting and receipting.

 

The webinar covers gifts, appropriateness of tax receipting, donated services, considerations related to gift certificates, directed donations, fundraising events, qualified donees and other valuable tips and reminders. They’re free to representatives of all registered charities and other qualified donees across Canada, including board members, treasurers, volunteers, charity employees, or professionals who provide services to charities.
